​​Maran Makes It is a textile and craft micro-enterprise launched in March 2025 by owner and founder Maran Pearce of Henderson County. A lifelong creative with a love for working with her hands, Maran never expected her passion for crafting to grow into a thriving business. With an optimistic spirit, a knack for problem-solving, and unwavering faith, she transformed her professional skill set into a full-time creative venture.

 

Today, Maran joyfully designs hand-tied fleece blankets in a variety of novelty patterns and sizes. Shoppers can choose from ready-made blankets or request a custom design. Maran especially enjoys creating pet-themed blankets—perfect for beloved pets and their people.

 

Entrepreneurship has opened the door for Maran to build meaningful community connections. She is grateful for the support of organizations such as Mountain Area Community Services (MACS), FIRSTwnc, TELCO, the Small Business Center at AB Tech, Incredible Towns Networking Group, FABA, local public libraries, and The Ugly Mug coffee shop, where she can often be found crafting her blankets. She is also proud to collaborate throughout the year with TELCO’s Hendersonville Branch in supporting local nonprofit Safelight.
